SOAP BOX DERBY 2010
This year Riverhead School sent four drivers to contest the Western Champs held at Westgate. Michael Louden came first, John Tolluch came second and Henry Dyer came third. All three boys were able to compete at the finals held in Glenfield.
The finals were held on Saturday 5th April at Glenfield. All three boys raced their hearts out throughout the heats. Henry Dyer qualified for the finals and produced the winning time in his last race of the day. Henry now qualifies for the International Soap Box Derby races held in America later this year. Well done Henry and well done to the wonderful team behind you.
A huge thanks goes out to Shawn Dyer who organised and trained the drivers. You rock!
