SOAP BOX DERBY
This year Riverhead School sent four drivers to contest the Western Champs held at Westgate. Henry Dyer came 4th and Jordan Ashby came 9th overall. These results put them through to the Finals. A huge effort boys. Well done.
The finals were held on Saturday 4th April at Glenfield. Henry Dyer lost in the slower lane in his first race and was eliminated. Jordan Ashby won his heat in the faster right hand lane and went on to become the 7th ranked driver in New Zealand out of 32. A huge thanks goes out to Shawn Dyer who organised and trained the drivers. You rock!
