Leaders are often made, not simply born. 

At Riverhead School we are dedicated to sparking the leadership potential that is inside every young person through providing leadership opportunities, events, student voice and meaningful input into school decisions. 

All learners throughout their time at Riverhead School are provided with a range of opportunities to become leaders. We believe that providing leadership opportunities and meaningful input into our school enhances our learners sense of belonging, strength in relationships, learner outcomes and connectedness to our community. It is also a way of enabling our learners to develop social competencies. One of our school values is "Excellence" so we promote leadership from a young age to exhibit excellence in one's self and in others.
