Pitoitoi Friday Flickouts

We are very proud of our 3 learning spaces - Awa pod (River), Maunga Pod (Mountains) and Wao Nui Pod (forest). Our spaces are filled with evidence of our learning journeys so far and show the amazing work our learners are doing. 

In Pitoitoi, we work collaboratively to bring out the best in our learners. We encourage our learners to Take risks and Think critically about their learning, in order to demonstrate our school values of Excellence and Resilience. The Learning Pit is a safe place for our learners to be as we work together to problem solve and find solutions.

In Year 5 & 6, we like to see our learners take on responsibilities around that school that show they are Trustworthy and Reliable. Our learners are kaitiaki of our environment and make good role models for our younger learners. 

Our learners engage in a wide range of curriculum activities including Music enrichment, Sports zones, Jump Jam, Art Club, Coding and STEAM projects, Science, Physical education, Te Reo as well as our daily Literacy and Numeracy learning.
