If your child is going to be away from school - please let us know before 8:25am. There are 3 ways in which you can do so:
Submit an absence form through the "absences" section on the school app
Fill in the form below
Ring the school absence line (412 9105, press 2) and leave a message
We are required to know the whereabouts of all children so it is imperative that you inform us when your child is going to be away. Please use the above options even if you have let their homeroom teacher know. If the office has not been informed it can become very time consuming for all involved (including yourself).

Our office staff will follow up on any unreported absences each day. The procedure for this is below:
An email notification is sent to remind you that your child/ren's absence has not been reported
You will receive a phone call asking the whereabouts of your child/ren. Please note that we will leave you a voice message, please listen to them.
If we do not hear from you at all, your child/ren will be marked with a "T" (Truant - Unjustified).

Our school bell goes at 8:25am. It is an expectation that your children come to school on time each day. All learners must be in their learning space when the bell goes at 8:25am, ready for learning (this means bag away, learning tools out), if they are not (or are coming through the gate as the bell is going) they are considered late.
Lateness heavily impacts everyone in the learning space, including the learner who is late.
If you do have an unfortunate situation which causes your child/ren to be late - please inform the school office before they arrive. This saves an unnecessary phone call from us. If your child/ren is coming in late, please ensure they come through the school office, they are then expected to walk to their learning area independently.

Children leaving early
Learners are not allowed to leave the school grounds during the day. Please try to only take your child out of school early in extreme circumstances or by prior arrangement with the office. If this has been arranged, please come to the school office and sign them out using out "VistaB" tablet at the counter. To minimise disruption to learning, your child/ren will stay in the learning space until you have arrived, we will then call them to the office.
